To enable accurate flow measurement we can supply customers with an Ultra-Sonic Sensor Sun Shade. If Ultra-sonic sensors are installed in a location that it is exposed to direct sunlight, then flow measurement errors can occur. The speed of sound varies with changes to temperature so it is important t try to prevent the ultra-sonic sensor becoming warmer than the surrounding ambient air temperature.

To compliment the sun shade we can also supply a calibration housing bracket and removable calibration plate.  This enables easy spot checking of the flow meter and aids 3rd party on site calibration of the flow meter.
